Science, Research and Development for Security and Defence

Science, research and technological development are treated as essential component of security and defence policy. This is reflected in the examination of the scope of science, research and technology, the implementation of programme-based management, including the definition of levels of ambition and financing, and the comparative analysis of organisational decisions. The lecture provides analysis of the challenges in the process of integration of national science and research activities in the Euroatlantic community and the potential to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of security and defence policies.
