The mass shooting of March this year at the Crocus concert hall in Moscow was defined by the media with various everyday terms, such as "assassination", "terrorist act", "terrorist attack", "sabotage" and others.
The article not aim to give a legal qualification or a legal definition of the act committed in Moscow from the point of view of international law, but to make a difference in the meaning and content of the terms used by the media, as well as to indicate why this mass shooting does not fall under the general understanding of a "terrorist act".
