Bulgaria's Defence Policy and Force Development 2018

   At the end of 2007, the Bulgarain authorities decided to review the long-term force development plan, known as "Plan 2015". In November 2007 the MOD invited us to provide our views on the national defence policy, required capabilities and the relevant force structure, and the organization of the defence institution at strategic level. Although at the time Bulgaria lacked many of the requisite methodologies and tools (e.g. capability planning process, taxonomies, libraries of building blocks, etc.), we managed to meet the MOD needs and submitted our report on January 10th, 2008.

The MOD published our report in this book (in Bulgarian) without any substantial editorial changes.
