This article addresses issues related to the creation of a National Military Command Center (NMCC). It gives the background of how the idea of NMCC emerged and how it developed, namely the creation of a multinational Working Group of potential participants in the project, the Concept of Operation (CONOPS) and the Technical architecture framework for the NMCC. It also discusses the general tasks, which the NMCC is going to perform as well as its functional capabilities and operations.
